WYNWOOD WALLS

Art Basel, 2022

When we were invited to paint at the world-renowned Wynwood Walls during Art Basel Miami week in 2022, we knew we wanted to create a total architectural transformation. For this indoor public installation located inside the Wynwood Walls Welcome Center, we designed a site-specific geometric mural titled "Chromatic Portal". Our goal was to actively disrupt the traditional angles of the welcome center's entryway. By wrapping vibrant, sharp-edged patterns across the brickwork and interior columns, we turned a transitional pass-through space into an immersive, three-dimensional color experience that pulls visitors into the heart of the museum campus.
