LIQUID SUNSHINE

2018

Stretching more than 350 feet through Seattle Center, Liquid Sunshine transforms a covered pedestrian walkway into a vibrant passage of color, movement, and light.

Designed to be experienced while walking, the mural unfolds across the length of the corridor, creating a rhythm of geometric forms that shift and repeat as visitors move through the space. Rather than treating the walkway as a single surface, the design responds to its architecture, using the long linear format to guide the eye and encourage exploration.

Inspired by the energy of Seattle Center and the constant flow of people passing through it, the composition brings warmth and color to a space used by thousands of visitors every day. What was once simply a connection between destinations has become a destination in itself.
