ASTER PLACE UNDERPASS

2022

When we designed for Aster College Park in 2022, we wanted to address a unique physical challenge: a prominent pedestrian walking bridge connecting two separate parcels of a brand-new, mixed-use community. Embracing our philosophy of transforming overlooked public corridors, we envisioned a design that would morph this transitional pathway into an uplifting, continuous visual experience. Rather than letting the underpass feel like a separation, our bold geometric patterns and vibrant color shifts seamlessly weave the architecture together, greeting local residents, shoppers, and students with an energetic splash of public abstraction on their daily routes.
