FOLDING THE PRISM

2019

In 2019, Jessie & Katey collaborated with Mural Arts Philadelphia to create “Folding the Prism”, a towering six-story public mural that activates the Spring Garden neighborhood. Curated by Ryan Strand Greenberg, this site-specific public artwork sits at the intersection of local history, urban topography, and contemporary geometric painting. The sprawling, multi-story design directly responds to the neighborhood's rich early 20th-century textile production history, translating the physical concepts of woven fabrics and refracted light fields into a permanent open-air visual landmark.
