VORTEX BLOOM,
GILSON SNOWBOARDS

2025

Designing the "Vortex Bloom" graphic for Gilson Snowboards challenged us to translate our scale onto a dynamic, moving canvas that relies on speed and motion to come alive

Instead of anchoring a fixed physical space, we wanted to capture the fluid, adrenaline-fueled energy of gliding down a mountain. We sat down with physical board templates to map out how our hand-drawn geometries would curve around the board profile and interact with the snow. The resulting composition fuses high-contrast psychedelic gradients with sharp line-masking that twists down the deck. It is structured specifically to flash color against white snowpack, turning the performance of riding into a piece of kinetic public art.
